How can we help?

Answers to common questions about RhythmHer and RhythmHer Partner. Can't find what you need? Email [email protected] and a person will reply.

In an emergency, don't wait for an app.

RhythmHer can't provide medical advice or urgent help. If you have severe pain, heavy bleeding, symptoms of pregnancy complications, or feel unsafe, call your local emergency number or contact a clinician right away.

Getting started

Do I need an account to use RhythmHer?

No. Core tracking works without an account and your entries are stored on your device. An account is only needed if you turn on encrypted sync or partner sharing.

How do I log a check-in?

Open Today's check-in on the home screen and record your period, flow, symptoms, mood, energy, sleep and any notes. It takes about two minutes.

How does voice check-in work?

Tap the microphone in a check-in and speak your note. Your phone's built-in speech recognition turns it into text, and you review the text before anything is saved. RhythmHer asks for microphone access the first time you use it; you can change this later in your phone's Settings.

How accurate is the phase estimate?

It's an estimate based on the history you've logged, and it gets better as you record more cycles. Bodies vary, so it should never be used as contraception or to confirm or rule out pregnancy.

Your data

Where is my data stored?

On your device by default. If you create an account and turn on sync, entries are encrypted on your phone before they're sent, so the server only stores data it can't read. See the privacy policy for details.

How do I export my data or make a PDF for my doctor?

Go to Profile and choose Export health summary (PDF) for a summary you can share with a clinician, or Export data for a full copy of what you've logged.

How do I delete my data?

In Profile, Delete all data removes everything stored on this device. If you have an account, Delete account removes your account and the records synced to it. Deleting is permanent, so export first if you want a copy.

I forgot my account password.

Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and we'll help you get back in. Because synced entries are encrypted on your device, keep your phone's local data until your account is restored.

RhythmHer Partner

How do I pair with a partner?

Your partner installs the separate RhythmHer Partner app. In RhythmHer, turn on partner sharing and choose which categories to share; your partner then scans your QR code with Scan QR code, or pastes the pairing link you send them.

What can my partner see?

Only the summary you approve, built from the categories you picked, such as cycle phase, mood, energy or symptoms. Your raw entries and notes are never shared.

How do I stop sharing?

Turn off partner sharing, or choose Refresh code, which disconnects your current partner immediately. Your partner can also disconnect from their app.

Subscriptions

How much does RhythmHer cost?

When it launches, RhythmHer is planned at $9.99 per month with a 7-day free trial. RhythmHer Partner is a separate app with its own planned subscription. Neither is available to buy yet.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose RhythmHer. Cancel at least a day before renewal to avoid being charged for the next period.

I got a new phone and my subscription is missing.

Sign in with the same Apple Account and use Restore purchases in the app. If that doesn't work, email us with your Apple receipt.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
